Squad profile

One row per player. The dot marks the player's age at the end of the season (today, for this season), sized by market value and coloured by position. The grey line runs back to the age at joining, and the blue line runs on to the end of the contract (this season only). The shaded years, 25 to 28, are usually a player's peak. The bar on the right is the share of league minutes in the selected matches, and players without any are faded.

Chance locations

Each area's share of the xG from open play and set pieces (penalties are counted separately). The small number underneath is the difference from the league average, in percentage points. The two wide areas of the box count together.

Game state

The bars show the share of match time spent level, ahead, and behind, with the tick at the league average; xG for and against per 90 minutes in each state is alongside.

AttackDefenceLeague average

The goals a side would score (attack) and concede (defence) per game against an average team at a neutral ground, from the forecast ratings after each matchday; a lower defence number is better. When the dates are narrowed, the shaded part is the selected range.
